In character & out,

• we request that you read these rules carefully and that you understand them, we will know if you haven’t so don’t waste your own time and just read the rules.
• If you do not follow all of the rules listed below, there will be consequences. And you will not be accepted since there is a password.
• Don’t fight. It’s plain and simple you don’t agree on something take it up with one of the admins instead of causing trouble for everyone.
• Don’t advertise in the c-box, we have a board for advertising and there is a certain reason for that, if this rule is not followed you will only be warned once.
• Please NO spamming, if you spam we will not give any warning 2-3 day ban will be put into action right away.

Applications and joining,

• In order to be accepted you must have the password that is hidden somewhere in the rules. If you do not have it you will stay in pending until you do.
• Details are love. No one likes a dull application with no details at all. This is also an advanced RPG, which means in order to get accepted you must have detail!
• If your application is not satisfactory the admins will give you advice on how to make it better, take our advice and use it to your advantage.
• This RPG is based on real life so we don’t want to see characters with special powers, it’s just not normal.
• You may have your character to have famous parents but if there are too much of them they will be banned.
• The password for your application is let it be.
• We want the site to look good and not sloppy so one character per account and that includes twins. Want twins make two separate accounts.
• Have your characters first middle and last name for your display name. Instead of “glamgal” have “Kendall Grace Warrington.”
• For every two girls you play there must be one boy to accompany them.
• Just to make sure you read the rules other than the password for your application tittle we Want you Last name in caps then your first and middle name in lower case like so: WARRINGTON, Kendal Grace

General role play,

• NO MSN speak people. You don’t go up to everyone and go “sup” “lol” it’s just not aloud.
• This is a literal RPG your character can not know what other characters are thinking.
• NO POWER PLAYING. It gets annoying and you can’t know what another characters going to do it’s just not possible. Disregard this rule and there will be consequences.
• We expect a 450 word minimum for each post. This is an advanced RPG, it’s very easy to get 500, just be very detailed when posting. Everyone gets writers block just warn us in advanced.
• I know that people have their off days. Just try your best.
• Spelling and grammar are very important, no one is perfect and we understand that but there is spell check, it’s there for a reason, use it.
• There’s no love at first site, I mean not many people can tell that. You don’t look at someone and go he’s the one I want to marry, that’s just not real.
• When you ask people to role play give them time to reply I know it gets annoying waiting but it’s also annoying the other way around when you keep nagging, just be patient they will post.
• When you make a thread for a specific person please tag the thred for them or put closed and then there name at the bottom so we know it’s not an open thread.
• If you’re low on muse, then don’t reply to a thread. Tell the person you will reply when you can, don’t try and have a sucky reply because sometimes it gets really annoying.

Coming Back,

If you are coming back to Suburban Hearts, then please reply to the thread in the records board and I will let you move your bio back to the accepted file, and your plot profile and stuff like that. But I will not be moving any threads back to the board. We are starting fresh, all of the old threads and such. You must also put the new password in your application and apply for claims again. DO NOT CHANGE YOUR FACE CLAIM, if i see this i will not accept your application. thank you for coming back, I know it will work this time.

Sexual content,

• This site is rated 14 and plus, by that I mean there will be sex, drugs, scandals and all that jazz, if you can’t deal with it don’t join. Simple as that.
• Don’t go into a lot of detail, if you do put a warning in the thred so the people that are offended know what to read and what not to.
• You may have your character pregnant as long as you get a yay from the admins were fine with it but also we don’t want every girls pregnant, if we get to much there will be a ban.


Signatures & avatars,

• The PB’s you use have to be of celebrities, or models or people from a band, no myspacers, anime or people from face book.
• Anything bigger than 400x500 is too big.
• All avatars must be a minimum of 100x100 pixels and a maximum of 200x200.
• No nudity in your signature pictures.
• Use tinypic, imageshack, or photobucket to upload pictures. Use the [img][/img] tags for signature pics and the link/url for avatars.
• Use common sense. Your siggy picture is not going to be of another person. Put a picture of your character in it.
• You can have up to two pictures in your signature. If you have more than two, link it.
• If instead of a picture, you have a row of avatars, that’s fine but no more than 4 avatars.
• No stretching the board!

Parties & events,

• There will be events posted at the site every so often.
• Everyone is invited to come if your character has a meaning of being there. Like there won’t be any seniors at the Freshman day or no Freshman at the private dance for all the graduating seniors it’s just not normal.
• If you want an exclusive party, please PM an admin and we'll say yay or nay.
